★★★★★

MaryCruz · 20/08/2023 08:39

Today marks the first day of my journey with Rybelsus, I acquired from Online Pharmacy. Not referring, just information. My current weight stands at 14 stone 5 pounds, and my height is 5 feet 8 inches. I took my first tablet right when I woke up. I'm excited about this new chapter and would love for anyone interested to follow along. I plan to provide updates on my weight loss progress on a weekly basis, optimistically hoping for positive results. Joining this journey could be a great opportunity for us to share tips, experiences, and encouragement. I understand the importance of consistency and patience in this process, and I'm prepared for the ups and downs. It’s a step towards a healthier lifestyle, and I’m curious to see how Rybelsus will work for me. Let’s embark on this path together, sharing insights and supporting each other along the way.

@BrendaLee I get light headed when I stand up if I haven't been drinking enough. The thirst urge is deadened for me along with the hunger so I have to keep track of my fluids. Could it be the same for you?

KayliDzhener · 01/02/2024 10:42

I definitely don't drink enough, I barely wee at all now. It's so weird isn't it.

CrystalVision · 01/02/2024 12:42

I don't like the taste of water or soft drinks now. But I can drink yerba mate and detox tea.

Monika · 01/02/2024 22:14

I try to drink as much as I can, and on 3mg I would notice more often, but now with on 7mg I'm definitely noticing reduced thirst signals.

The appetite suppression on 7mg is real, I'm getting properly full after a 200kcal protein bar alone now. I'd be getting hunger signals still at meal times on 3mg but now it's like, meh I guess I better have something.

Trying to make sure I eat at around 1200-1300cals a day to keep the ol' metabolism running.

Evening all, hope everyone is okay! I’ve been quiet but still plodding on!! A few pounds from hitting 3 stone and close to the next stone bracket which will take me into the 9’s and that’s where I said I’d stop! I have enough 7mg until roughly December but already thinking I want to carry on until at least Jan so I avoid the Xmas weight gain…. I had an email from Safe Meds saying 7 mg is in stock but when I went through the consultation they want 2 months to be bought at the same time (plus they were out of stock!). Other places I’m seeing it still selling for $244 so waiting to see what Numan does this month…

i definitely not drinking enough and hadn’t thought about it, I defo agree it’s like the food and I’ve stopped thinking about drinking too! Will make concerted effort this week to drink more! I’m still losing a fair chunk of hair each day, Sam currently buying up all sorts of vits and hair products 🙄

Hope everyone has nice weekend!

LanaRay · 02/02/2024 19:35

Ps. I’m getting loads of comments from family and friends about my weight loss! I feel quite fraudulent as no one knows I’m on these tablets…anyone else feel the same??

KayliDzhener · 02/02/2024 20:10

Well done @LanaRay I'm 4lb short of 4 stone now and people are starting to notice. I've enough tablets to last until beginning of Jan I think. If people ask how I've done it I Say Ozempic and Fast 800, People have heard of Ozempic so they don't ask a ton of questions. Numan didn't have 14mg so I skipped this month and got the two months from Right angles it was a good deal at $160 per month. I have a 10pc off for Safe Meds if they have any next time. Put all my size 20 and 18 clothes for sale on Vinted and they are going well. I have bought some lovely jumpers to see me through the 16s. It is a miracle!

LanaRay · 02/02/2024 20:56

Thank you @KayliDzhener and huge congrats on nearly hitting 4 stone, that’s amazing!! It’s amazing putting clothes on that have been in my wardrobe for years that I’ve not been able to fit into!!

Ooh so you are being honest, I don’t know why I just can’t be so I’m saying intermittent fasting which is true as I don’t tend to have food until lunch and I’ve upped my exercise. I’ve just checked my numan account just now and it says it will be displayed on 6th Sept so will wait to see if it is and then that will take me closer to Jan so will pause it after that delivery I think. Right angle was a very good price!

IronHeart · 03/02/2024 07:05

@KayliDzhener @LanaRay well done on your losses!

People are noticing the loss with me too, and I'm feeling strangely embarrassed about it?

I suffer with a bit of indigestion and nausea so have antacids, and I'm ashamed to say that a couple of times I've said my weight loss is due to that! I just don't want to tell anyone that I'm on Rybelsus.

BrendaLee · 03/02/2024 08:41

I have a decision to make and I could do with your help please.
I’m just finishing my 30 days on Rybelsus 3mg tablets. Side effects have been minimal, a bit of lightheadedness really. No change in weight. I have a pack of 7mg Rybelsus as well as a 0.5 Ozempic pen in the fridge.
Which one should I start next….???

KayliDzhener · 03/02/2024 10:02

I wouldn't swap between them myself just stick to one,

LanaRay · 03/02/2024 10:07

Thanks @IronHeart Isn't it ridiculous that we feel this way. I feel like I’ve cheated by taking this stuff but no diets or anything have worked in the past since peri menopause so there was obvs a need for something like this!

@BrendaLee i would stick to the same thing rather than switching personally. Be aware though I was fine on 3mg but felt incredibly poorly on 7mg for about 4/5 days when I moved up. I’m fine now and still on 7mg months later as it still works for me. Good luck hopefully you won’t have too much of a problem switching. Ps I think weighloss for a few took a while (as in didn’t happen straight away on 3mg whilst it built up in peoples systems)

CrystalVision · 03/02/2024 10:17

@LanaRay how do you get around the photo check in the 9st bracket. I started at 11st and now 9st4 so I am restricted to more expensive suppliers without photo check.

Well done everyone on weight loss. People have noticed my weight loss too. I have also said ozempic tablets as it's easier. I also point out it's not a magic bullet. I have dieted and exercised and all it did was stop overeating and drinking. I also think I have lot less carb bloat. I itch if I eat carbs now. I want to stay on a low dose because I like not overeating and I feel better generally. I do miss getting completely hammered and getting a takeaway on a Friday night because I have an automatic shut off at two glasses of wine but it's a small price to pay.

Monika · 03/02/2024 10:44

@BrendaLee I hear Ozempic is stronger as it's injected. I'd personally move onto the 7mg and then the Ozempic. I also got sick on the 7mg first time and had to revert back to 3mg, so be prepared as you may feel a bit poorly.

I don't like to disclose I'm on Rybelsus but I'm not ashamed or guilty about it. The more I read about semaglutide the more and more I believe it's a hormonal imbalance that is being corrected - rather than blaming myself for poor impulse control with food, I now believe my prior eating habits were largely out of my control on a more permanent basis. I feel like I've seen the light, I understand now what people mean by 'stop eating when you are full' or 'just eat less and count calories'- it's so EASY when your body isn't screaming that it's unsatisfied and hungry constantly! I don't doubt within a few years, and especially once the shortages have been combatted, there will be a lot less stigma around it.

LanaRay · 03/02/2024 12:39

@CrystalVision Well done on your loss! I’m a few pounds off going down into the 9stone bracket so have not experienced that yet but a healthy BMI for me is 9stone 6 (I’m short!) so I can’t see they’d have an issue until I’m in the healthy BMI bracket? I also eat far less and more healthily than before, I find now when I have a bit of sugar or cakes my eczema flairs up again.

I agree @Monika i feel it’s definitely hormonal for me. Whilst on this just literally the day before my period I want to eat more, that’s the only time I struggle to control my eating on these tablets so it has to be! I just feel like I’m ‘cheating’ on this and spending quite a lot of money but you are right it’s shouldn’t be a shameful thing and hopefully will be normalised soon.

KayliDzhener · 03/02/2024 12:54

I'm sending my same photo from March!! I don't think they look at them.

CrystalVision · 03/02/2024 13:58

Thanks @KayliDzhener I might give it a try. I have to pay more because of restricted choice. Although AJ Hill were a good price before shortages so might be Ok by the time I need to restock

KayliDzhener · 04/02/2024 13:30

Anyone else got the email from Numan about wegovy? Interested to know the price.

IronHeart · 04/02/2024 19:53

Yes I did @KayliDzhener, on the Oz threads some of the chemists have launched price lists today and there's screenshots, 2.4mg is $299 from memory with other doses less.
A couple of chemists are saying they have stock as well, though no one has said they have managed to yet.

IronHeart · 04/02/2024 19:55

This website saying in stock now

KayliDzhener · 04/02/2024 19:57

Thank you. I didn't realise it was an injection, I don't fancy that

IronHeart · 04/02/2024 21:06

No, I don't want an injection either. But it might relive some of the supply issues?

KayliDzhener · 05/02/2024 14:40

Yes that's true had two more companies email me about it today so that's good for the diabetics and everyone

LanaRay · 05/02/2024 17:48

Numan have just said they are dispatching 7mg to me as they can’t get 14mg for the foreseeable future. Lucky for me I only want 7mg as still happy on it. Looks like it was $179
